Seattle Trip

  • Feb. 20th, 2006 at 9:24 PM
I turn 18 in seven months!
01.
Mom and I drove through the Tri-Cities to visit her aunt and uncle. THIS IS THEIR DOG.

02.
Ooh-ahh.

Nothing really happened on the drive over.

SATURDAY: We went shopping and had Japanese food.

03.
You remember the chopstick picture from earlier, yes? THIS PROVES I DO HAVE THE SKILL.

04.
Ze parental units.

05.
For dessert: apple thingy, chocolate chip cookies, pineapple tart, and COCONUT COVERED FLAN. ::drool:: I am spoiled.

06.
Then we went to Bellvue Square and walked around the mall for a really long time looking for a store that went out of business. To make up for it, Dad bought me this cookie sandwhich. It was intoxicating and saturated with sugar.

SUNDAY: We went to the Seattle Center and the Space Needle.

07.

08.
Mom and me being tourists! :D

10.

11.
I remember being little and thinking the dinosaurs were real. I can now tell you for sure that they are not.

12.
Dad and me at the GIANT TABLE.

13.
LOOK AT ME ON A MAC AT THE SEATTLE CENTER. There's my livejournal :D

14.
There was a wedding about to take place at the Space Needle, and I sneakily took a picture of the bride. ^.^

15.
My mom in the restaurant at the top of the Space Needle.

17.
Moi.

18.

19.
Mount Rainier.

20.

21.

22.
First came pound cake slices and apple juice.

23.
Then fruit.

24.
Then THE BELGIAN WAFFLE. (It was wonderful)

25.
Then chocolate ice cream.

26.
We are family...!
Taken by the waiter.

27.
Da.

28.
Elevator going down.

Monday: Mom and I drive home.

29.

30.
The things I got. Guess what my favorite color is.

5. The apple thingy looks interesting.

10. I like the duck.

It looks like you had a fun trip. My parents don't do things like that. You went to Seattle. Jordy went to St. George. You know what my parents did? NOTHING. They stayed home. They don't even have the energy to let ME travel. They don't have to come - just as long as they let me go.

The apple thing wasn't that good, actually :(

It was a very fun trip, my mom had it planned out for a long time.
I'm sorry about your parents being boring though, that stinks.

I have found that apple things are often that way. They look interesting, but aren't necessarily all that great. I once wrote something about the conflicting and paradoxical nature of apples.

I love the stolen picture of the bride to be. She looks really out of place in those surroundings and mildly concerned about it. Very artsy fartsy.

Haha, thanks. I had my dad stand sort of in front of me so I could zoom in by his shoulder to get the picture.

GREEEEEEN! Yay!

I'm so scared of heights, I would have been so afraid on that Space Needle thingy. I'd need tons of chocolate ice cream to feel better =P

I love green. <3

I'm scared of heights also, but being in the Space Needle wasn't that bad, surprisingly. I think it had to do with the fact that I wasn't at the EDGE of a great height. And the chocolate ice cream was so so yummy.

I love too many of them to count.

somehow, I am amused by the fact that you got the waiter to take a picture of you guys. XD

by the way, I love the bride picture. I've always had a thing for wanting to take pictures of someone in a wedding gown in bizarre/contrasting settings.

I'm still planning to take pictures of Sara dressed up as the "Gnome Bride" (we have a hat), but we're still looking for a suitable wedding dress.

my old dog looked just like that one. I don't like long car trips. I don't like sushi either. your dad is bald. those desserts look really, really, really good. the cookie sandwich looks good too, despite being saturated with sugar. I've been to seattle lots, but never to the space needle...but I've been in the CN tower in toronto, which I think is taller than the space needle. dinosaurs are awesome...ducks too. what, the dinosaurs aren't real, aww man...I've been on those big chairs before. macs are weird. space needle would be a good place to have a wedding, too bad there were no gnomes though. I want to go to the restaurant at the top of the space needle. you sure are high up. those are sweet pictures. I want to unicycle on Mount Rainier. is that a boat in the water? thats your car. I don't like apple juice personally. fruit is awesome though. waffles are the BEST. chocolate ice cream is good too. thats nice of the waiter to take your picture. your dad is still bald. whats that big round ball in the corner of the picture? I want to go unicycling there too. green!

You think my dad would grow some hair in the twenty-four hours difference between when those two pictures were taken?

Tsk, tsk, you have a highly skewed perception of reality, Mike. ::patpat::

no, its just that I needed to comment on every single picture, and I didn't have anything to say for that one.
A true INFJ.
